Proof I Exist: White Picket Fences
Paul Kulis comes out of hiding with White Picket Fences, a new EP by his one-man project Proof I Exist. These four songs have an outsider-looking-in vibe, gentle shoegaze guitar and soft-spoken vocals telling tales of love, loss, and things changing for the better.
He comes close to a radio-friendly tune with The End, provided unadventurous listeners make it through the backwards guitar in the intro. The previously released single Colin's Song has a "tasteful use of echo that will appreciated by fans of Dinosaur Jr and The Jesus and Mary Chain".
